Terms & Conditions of Service
These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Seasonal Shift LLC to the client. By approving an estimate, scheduling service, or submitting payment, the client agrees to the following terms.
1. Scope of Work
Services performed are limited strictly to the items outlined in the approved estimate or invoice. Any additional work requested by the client that falls outside the original scope may require a revised estimate and additional charges.
Estimates are valid for fourteen (30) days unless otherwise stated.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise specified in writing.
For projects exceeding $500, a deposit of 50% may be required to secure scheduling. Deposits become non-refundable once materials are purchased or scheduling is confirmed.
Accepted payment methods may include credit card, debit card, ACH transfer, or other electronic payment methods processed through a secure third-party payment provider.
3. Online Payments Authorization
By submitting payment electronically, Client authorizes Seasonal Shift LLC to process the payment via a secure third-party payment processor, including but not limited to platforms integrated with our invoicing system.
Client agrees not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Seasonal Shift LLC to attempt resolution in good faith.
4. Late Payments
Balances unpaid more than seven (7) days past due may incur a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance.
Seasonal Shift LLC reserves the right to suspend or postpone services until outstanding balances are paid in full.
Client agrees to be responsible for any reasonable collection costs or fees incurred in recovering unpaid balances.
5. Scheduling & Cancellations
The client must provide at least forty-eight (48) hours notice to cancel or reschedule services.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.
If access to the property is not available at the scheduled time, a service fee may apply.
6. Weather
Outdoor services are weather-dependent. Seasonal Shift LLC reserves the right to reschedule services due to unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions.
The Company shall not be held liable for delays caused by weather, natural events, supply shortages, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
7. Property Access & Site Conditions
Client is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to all service areas prior to scheduled work.
8. Pre-Existing Damage
Seasonal Shift LLC is not responsible for pre-existing damage to property surfaces, structures, furniture, landscaping, or fixtures.
Any concerns regarding service quality or potential damage must be reported within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seasonal Shift LLC’s liability shall be limited to the total amount paid by Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Winterization & Seasonal Services Disclaimer
For winterization or seasonal protection services, Client acknowledges that extreme weather events, improper homeowner maintenance, or unforeseen environmental factors may impact results.
Seasonal Shift LLC does not guarantee protection against all weather-related damage but will perform services with professional care and reasonable industry standards.
11. Insurance
Seasonal Shift LLC maintains general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
13. Acceptance of Terms
Approval of an estimate, scheduling of service, or submission of payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
